the taking of a photo
just for giggles and laughs
So, *drumroll please*
heres my baby Marley, enjoy him in all his glory
I must point out in the second photo he is gnawing on my finger, an activity he most surely enjoys.
what a doll
Some lyrics also
These are from a singer called Lior
I've been taking a liking to his tunes lately, always so pretty-sounding.
An amazing musician from my school sung this song, and I swear she will be famous one day.
Yes, yeah we're movin' on
Looking for direction
Mmm mm we've covered much ground
Thinking back to innocence
I can no longer connect
I don' t have a heart left to throw around
Oh, and time moves on like a train
That disappears into the night sky
Yeah, I still get a sad feeling inside to see the red tail lights wave goodbye
We'll grow old together
We'll grow old together
This old love will never
This old love will never die
Well money slips into your hands
And then slips out like it was sand
And those shoes that you could never seem to fill
I've chased so much and lost my way
Maybe a face for every day
That so casually slipped me by
Oh, time moves on like a train
That disappears into the night sky
Yeah, I still get that sad feelin' inside to see the red tail lights wave goodbye
Another few days missed!
Though it was my birthday on sunday, if that counts for anything. And I am all-to-excited to report that I received the most precious gift a girl could ever hope for, a puppy! His name is Marley, and hes a cavoodle.
For those not 'in the know', a cavoodle is a mixed breed, combining a Cavalier with a Minature Poodle. He is so so so so gorgeous.
But, theres a problem.
My gorgeous pictures of him and my birthday are still on the camera, as I have misplaced the connection cord...
But I do promise to upload them as soon as I find it.
In the meantime though, heres a polaroid photo of my father and my uncles attending a wedding of some sort.
I just love it and wish I had one for my own
oh, someday chloe
Sort of skipped a few perfectly fine blogging days..
For a reason, though,
I got accepted into lookbook!
So basically have been learning the ropes around there. Strangly addictive it is, I could not stop clicking 'new', to see what people were uploading and wearing!
Also, if you hadn't noticed, I uploaded a badge to the margin, and i'm positive it leads straight to the site.
The sunrise was amazing!
Below is the outfit I wore to the shops, just casual
Shirt- Mothers Closet
Black Blazer- Harbour Town Valley Girl
Denim Shorts- Vinnies
Vintage Harem Pants
While searching stores, i came across the vest above. It was by far the greatest item i had seen throughout the day. I immediately began trying it on, turning to see if the fit was right. Then all of a sudden, one of the male store clerks yells across the shop, 'black sheep of the family, are you?' Quite obviously it was a joke, so my friend and I giggled nervously and looked away. I was, however slightly shocked, as no other salesperson had voiced their opinion in such an outgoing way. Not that I personally cared what this man thought, however it was lucky he wasnt serving us at the counter!
I somehow found this website, and now must say i'm slightly addicted! Its a space where people from all around the world can post pictures of them in gorgeous outfits, for others to comment. Great idea, huh?
So naturally, I want in! I've sent an email to the owners requesting membership, but havn't heard back yet. Fingers crossed, legs crossed, eyes crossed until they make up their mind!
I encourage you to check it out!
Oh, to begin something. Something you have had set clearly in your mind for months. Something enchanting, creative and inspiring. Something quite like this blog.
I find them extremely fascinating, dont you? To write ones thoughts and ideas, to present themselves dispite the ridicule or shame. All hand-in-hand aspects of the fashion blog scene. A scene I am surely to become a part of, and of course aspire to be. I plan to display everything worth looking at, for anyone who is to look. I hope others gain somewhat of an insight into my existence, and ultimately what makes existing wonderful.
Jumper Dress- Mooloola
So yes, it has been brought to my attention that I have been spending too much lately. Probably because of the flies buzzing around in my wallet. However i think you will find the dress above to be extremely practical. Examples of uses include:
♥ a jumper for chilly winder mornings
♥ a dress for the warmer of days (sleeves rolled up of course)
♥ a masterpiece ensemble teamed with black stockings and pumps
♥ a bargain with a price of only nineteen dollars!
I rest my case.
Also, I have a piece of poetic genius to share with you- in the form of Josh Pyke. His music tells of experiences and the happiness of childhood. His ability to describe is flawless.
The Summer-Josh Pyke
If I could bottle up the sea breeze I would take it over to your house
And pour it loose through your garden
So the hinges on your windows would rust and colour
Like the boats pulled up on the sand for the summer
And your sweet clean clothes would go stiff on the line
And there’d be sand in your pockets and nothing on your mind
But every year it gets a little bit harder
To get back to the feeling of when we were fifteen
And we could jump in the river upstream
And let the current carry us to the beginning where
The river met the sea again
And all our days were a sun-drenched haze
While the salt spray crusted on the window panes
We should be living like we lived that summer
I wanna live like we live in the summer
And I’ll remember that summer as the right one
The storms made the pavement steam like a kettle
And our first goodbye always seemed like hours
In the car park in between my house and yours
And if the summer holds a song we might sing forever
Then the winter holds a bite we’d never felt before
But time is like the ocean
You can only hold a little in your hands
So swim before we’re broken
Before our bones become
Black coral on the sand
